Exeter City Community Trust
Exeter City Community Trust is the charity arm of Exeter City Football club and is Exeter’s leading health and wellbeing charity. Established in 1991 (initially as Exeter City Football in the Community), we have been a registered charity since 2007. We aim to deliver inspiring physical activity, education, health and wellbeing programmes and courses across Exeter and Devon, for all members of the community regardless of ethnicity, age, gender, physical ability, background, or economic status. Our 48 programmes reach more than 45,000 people in the community every year, including some of the hardest to reach members of society- helping people to change their lives and build safer and stronger communities. We operate with 96 staff, supported by 49 volunteers, who spend over 22,000 hours out in the community every year. Exeter City Community Trust continues to work in partnership with Exeter City Football Club and a range of community organisations to deliver health and wellbeing programmes that focus on themes of, and tackle issues surrounding, sport & physical activity; education; mentorship & support; social inclusion; social isolation; mental health and supported housing.
